Product Overview
The Spring Leaf comes as a part of the radiography system, which is used for imaging method diagnosis using X-Rays. It is used in the side positioning latch assembly in the cassette sensing tray in the bucky of the Proteus XR/a system. The systems work on the principle where high velocity electrons, when interacted with the patient’s body, get their kinetic energy converted into electromagnetic radiation. An X-Ray tube produces the X-Rays. It contains an anode and a cathode. A detector is used to measure the parameters of X-Rays in digital radiography. It converts X-Rays into light, thus forming images with details. The spring leaf is placed between the stopper and slide plate of the cassette tray. It is used to absorb the vibrations in the unit during functioning due to the movement of the bucky. It takes in any suspensions and absorbs shock, such that the unit is protected from external damage and error free images are obtained. Hence, it is highly vital for obtaining accurate dimensions as well as the safety of the unit.
