Product Overview
Le fonctionnement des HMEF (FECH - filtres échangeurs de chaleur et d'humidité) et des filtres de GE Healthcare a été testé et vérifié sur les machines d’anesthésie de GE Healthcare. Les produits fonctionnent de façon optimale avec les blocs circuit patient des machines d’anesthésie de GE Healthcare.
Les HMEF sont constitués d'un matériau échangeur de chaleur et d’humidité et d'un matériau de filtration électrostatique.
Les HMEF sont utilisés pour protéger les patients contre la contamination croisée et pour réchauffer et humidifier les gaz inspirés. La filtration s’effectue au moyen d’un matériau de filtration constitué de fibres rectangulaires bipolaires fendues chargées en permanence qui capturent les particules véhiculées dans l’air. Un HMEF est généralement installé du côté patient du bloc circuit patient entre la pièce en Y du circuit et les voies aériennes du patient.
